Students across our region can access free meal kits throughout the summer. WNESU School Nutrition Manager Melissa Bacon, WRED Food Service Manager Jake Gallogly, and WSESU Food Nutrition Director Harley Sterling have been hard at work putting together healthy, fresh meals for kids in Windham county.

Windham Northeast Supervisory Union Meal kits include bulk and ready-to-eat items equal to 7 days of breakfast and lunch for one child. These meals are available to any household with children ages 0-18 who live within the boundaries of WNESU.
Pick-up location: Bellows Falls Union High School every Wednesday starting 6/25 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm.

West River School District Meal Kits contain 7 days' worth of breakfast & lunch, and are available to anyone under the age of 18 regardless of enrollment.
Pick-up Locations: Leland & Gray or Jamaica Elementary School : every Thursday from 12:00 - 3:00 pm, starting July 3rd through August 14th. Supported by West River Education District.
Parent/Guardian or child must be present.

Windham Southeast Supervisory Union Meal kits include a combination of bulk and ready-to-eat items equivalent to 7 days worth of breakfast & lunch for one child (items include: fresh local produce & bread, artisan cheeses, bananas, breakfast cereals, and much more!).
These meals are available to any household with children ages 0-18 - children may only receive 1 breakfast and 1 lunch per day and cannot receive meals from multiple Summer Food Service Program sites. Meal kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis/while supplies last. Each meal kit meets USDA meal pattern equivalents for 7 days of breakfast & lunch. Questions or accommodation requests can be directed to summermeals@wsesdvt.org.
Please help us ensure we prepare enough kits by signing up ASAP. Each week's sign up will be posted on Fridays at on the district website. (Sign ups are not required, but signing up is extremely helpful for planning purposes.)

Please access Sunny Acres Road from South Main Street in order to avoid backing up traffic on Fairground Road.
