Hundreds of Local Products.
Dozens of Producers.
Food Connects works to increase wholesale access to locally produced food and develop new markets for local food producers while contributing to a vibrant local economy. We do this through our Food Hub, which operates under two place-based brands: Food Connects' Food Hub, serving VT, and Monadnock Menus, serving NH. To date, we have done $1.5 Million in local food sales to local buyers.
We make it easy for you to obtain food from multiple local producers. Our website and ordering system gives you access to source-identified produce, meat, dairy, and baked goods from more than thirty local producers in southern Vermont and New Hampshire. Get reliable deliveries up to twice a week that fit into your regular schedule. We offer competitive prices, personalized services, and products that you can feel good about.
SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY, ENLIVEN YOUR TASTE BUDS
Local food isn’t just a fad. When you buy from local producers, you're supporting the local economy and ensuring there will be farms here to feed our community for years to come. When you buy from a local producer through our food hub, your money stays in this community, rather than going out of state to a chain store owned by a large corporation.
Online ordering, easy invoicing, consolidated deliveries: we make it easy for local producers and buyers to find each other. And we support our producers by giving them an 80% return, which is significantly greater than conventional standards. Growing a sustainable local food economy is our mission, and that means treating everyone fairly.
