Monadnock Farm Tour & Film Festival


The Monadnock Farm Tour + Feast on This! Film Festival is a 3-Day Celebration of our Local Food System!

FARM TOUR: Local food purveyors, farmers, and artisan food producers open their barns, coops, hoop houses, pastures, and kitchens to foster a better understanding of their day-to-day lives bringing food to your table.

FILM FESTIVAL: Enjoy films highlighting soil, healthy eating, effect of climate change on farming, & young innovative farmers! Feature length and short films!

Farm Tour hours only.

FILMS: Suggested donation: $10

All proceeds go towards 2020 Monadnock Farm Tour coordinating and advertising costs, Film Festival venue rentals, and film costs, and towards programming expenses of the Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition.


Friday, August 23rd: "The Need to Grow" hosted by the Monadnock Food Coop, 7 pm, at The Colonial Theater, Keene, NH

Saturday, August 24th: 11 am - 4 pm, Monadnock Farm Tour at farms throughout the Monadnock Region.

"Perennial Plates, Future Farmers in the Spotlight" - Prime Roast Coffee, 16 Main Street, Keene, NH, Saturday, 8/24, all day

"Our Land" - Sun Moon Farm during Monadnock Farm Tour, 121 Thomas Rd., Rindge, NH

Saturday night: "Tackling Climate Change through Food" 45-minutes of short films & discussion explores how farmers and the local food movement work to provide solutions to stem climate change. Discussion & film hosted by Main Street Cheese, 47 Main Street, Hancock, NH.

Sunday, August 25th: "Secret Ingredients" 6:30pm at the Brattleboro Food Coop, Community Room, Brattleboro, VT. Hosted by the Brattleboro Food Coop and Fertile Fields Farm.
